You guys are killing us with ridiculous overreach on employers. Their is no way CT can ever compete with this heavy burden, and it proves itself out always that revenues shrink in the State coffers every time you over regulate business in our state. You never learn that the market dictates the outcome and, if you pass any of these bills, just watch - you will hurt the lower income, as technology reduces job needs, businesses will just outsource so the burden is shifted on employee pay leave and the exodus to other states will amplify. I have been in business 32 years and once I retire in the next few years, I am out of hear. Your policies and actions leave the state hopeless - unless you get your act together, and start being responsible to all taxpayers, not just the union leaders.

It is way beyond time that all compensation for any elected official stops as soon as they are voted out, retire or any other reason they are out of office, and that includes pay, health benefits and retirement benefits. Also while they are in office NO health Insurance benefits and NO retirement benefits and a pay cut for US Senators of 75% and all other 50%. That will cut unnecessary spending. No more 10 year contracts for state employees, and an elimination of any deferred compensation for all non hourly state employees of every department. All others move to their own 401k.
