The Waterbury Regional Chamber has been strengthening the area economy by serving our members as a network, resource and advocate since 1889. Through our affiliation with The Naugatuck Chamber & The Watertown-Oakville Chamber, we are over 1000 members strong and represent businesses and organizations in 14 communities in the region and beyond.
The Chamber hosts over 80 events a year and has five Business Connection Groups. These events and groups draw hundreds of business people and allow Chamber members to expand their business contacts throughout our region, often leading to new clients, customers and opportunities.
The Chamber offers a variety of platforms to market and promote your business, referral systems and membership tracking reports, training seminars and programs, and a dedicated staff to help you determine your best course of action. We’re also proud to leverage our many partnerships with other organizations when you're looking for specific support and information.
1,000+ Chamber members serving as one voice impact issues and affect public policy. The Chamber effectively advocates for you on the local, state and national levels. We plan and design a legislative agenda with member input that prioritizes economic growth. The Chamber’s Public Policy Committee helps shape state legislation and regulations that affect our members and we retain a lobbyist, Armando Paolino, who represents our positions and concerns at the State Capitol. We maintain routine contact with our U.S Congressmen and Senators on issues of importance to businesses and nonprofits.
