Chamber Perk of the Week: September 27

The Waterbury Regional Chamber Perk of the week for September 27 is 20 percent off the first three months of private music lessons at Judah’s Camp, a music instruction school and recording studio located in downtown Waterbury.

Established in 2018 by recording artist and music producer Esteban Ramos, Judah’s Camp has quickly built a reputation for helping children and adults of all skill levels discover their sound through the instruction of musical instruments. Judah’s Camp is located at 65 Bank St. in downtown Waterbury.

Born in Bridgeport, Ramos started showing his interest in music at age two. In elementary school, he began playing the clarinet and later moved on to playing the saxophone. During his high school years, he was part of the local school band, marching band, jazz ensemble band, and concert band. Ramos also served at his local church as a drummer and later became a worship leader.

Ramos says that Judah’s Camp was born out of a desire to give students access to quality music lessons. Individuals can choose from instruments such as piano, drums, bass, saxophone, ukulele, guitar, and vocals. In addition to providing music lessons, Judah’s Camp also has a full music production studio. Music production courses are also available for students if they wish to explore music production as a career or hobby.

The Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Perk of the Week for August 30 is a $45 exam special at CT Junction Brain & Spine.
