The Connecticut Business & Industry Association confirmed today that Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will attend Connecticut Business Day on Wednesday!
The event begins at 10 a.m. in Room 2C of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford with welcoming remarks, which will be followed by Gov. Malloy speaking at 10:15 a.m. He will speak for about 15 minutes and then will have a few minutes to answer questions.
The Governor's decision to speak to the business executives in attendance is a positive sign, so take advantage of it by attending! If you haven't signed up yet, you still can. The Waterbury Regional Chamber and the Smaller Manufacturers Association are teaming up to provide a bus, which leaves from the Sears Auto Center lot near the Brass Mill Center mall at 8:30 a.m. (NOTE: A calendar item in the Republican-American said the bus leaves at 6:45 a.m., but that time is incorrect.)
Not only do you get a free bus ride to Hartford, you also can join us for lunch in the Hall of Flags in the Capitol. Several members of the Waterbury region's legislative delegation have said they will join us for lunch.
