I have stated to anyone and everyone in the Chamber who will listen that we need a strong show of support, as large a contingent of business people as we can muster, at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford on March 9, and now we have even more disturbing — in fact, horrifying — evidence as to why. Click on the link below and you'll understand.
During our Watertown Oakville Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, Sen. Rob Kane, R-Watertown, put it this way: "Unless the legislature changes in November, you will see another tax increase next year." That led Chamber Lobbyist Armando Paolino to say this: "I'll double down on Rob's prediction. I think it will happen right after the election."
It turns out, it may happen even sooner than that.
